Kurppa Hosk is looking for a Senior Designer to join our team in Oslo!

In this role, you will work closely with our brand strategists, digital designers, and other highly skilled creatives in our field to develop and deploy outstanding brand identities and visual systems. As a Senior Designer, you confidently lead brand design workstreams across medium- to large-sized projects, from initial concepts to fully realized identity systems and final delivery.

You are curious by nature and like to explore new tools and technologies, whether that’s AI, generative and code-based design, or new production methods. You test things early, share what you learn with the team, and look for ways new tools can make our work better and open up new creative possibilities.

You take clear ownership of your projects, proactively drive creative development, and ensure that the design solutions we deliver meet both brand and business objectives. You combine strong craft with structured thinking and are comfortable presenting and discussing your work with clients.

As part of Kurppa Hosk, you will work with some of the world’s leading brands that seek true transformation. You are self-propelled, structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a portfolio that showcases visually strong, well-crafted brand identity systems across a variety of touchpoints.

Main responsibilities

• Lead brand design workstreams in medium to large projects, from first concepts to complete identity systems and final delivery

• Translate strategy and brand platforms into high-quality visual solutions, optimized for the relevant touchpoints, formats, materials, and requirements

• Present and articulate design decisions confidently to clients

• Secure high craft quality and consistency across all brand deliverables, and mentor more junior designers

• Collaborate across disciplines, with colleagues in our Stockholm, New York, Chicago and London offices, and with our sister companies in Eidra

• Explore and bring new tools and technologies into our design process

Qualifications

• Relevant education within graphic design, visual communication, or similar, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in brand or graphic design

• Proven experience developing and implementing comprehensive brand identity systems

• Hands-on curiosity for new tools. Experience with AI, generative or code-based design tools is a plus

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Fluent in English; additional languages (including Norwegian) are a plus

The Oslo office

Our Oslo team consists of 30 designers, account directors, and strategists located in newly renovated offices at Eidra House on Bankplassen in the historical area of Kvadraturen. As we continue to strengthen our strategic offering and grow our international impact, we are looking for a Senior Designer to help shape the next phase of our journey.
