As our Digital Design Director, you will collaborate closely with our strategists, digital and brand designers, and other creative professionals to develop and deliver exceptional digital brand experiences. You are a confident and well articulated leader who engages, inspires, and motivates both your team at Kurppa Hosk and our clients. As part of Kurppa Hosk you will work with some of the world’s leading brands that seek true transformation and meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and innovate: Challenge conventional solutions and execute exciting digital concepts.
• Oversee and inspire: Guide design teams and manage medium to large digital design projects.
• Translate and advocate: Convert feature specifications and wireframes into final designs and present ideas convincingly to clients and team members.
• Deliver excellence: Ensure high standards and exceptional craftsmanship throughout your projects.
• Collaborate and maintain: Work with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and optimize graphic solutions for various touchpoints.
• Stay updated: Keep abreast of digital creativity standards, industry trends, and new software.
• Support growth: Delegate tasks and provide support for junior team members.
• Innovate visually: Develop compositions, grid systems, typography, colors, and visual expressions.

Qualifications:

• Relevant design education, with a focus on digital design.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital design (from concepts, to prototypes, to design systems, to implementation support etc)
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Figma, Principle, Framer, Webflow, Adobe Suite).
• Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing visually compelling and meticulously crafted digital design solutions, with experience in developing comprehensive digital design systems including diverse digital platforms.
