Senior Client Director

As we continue to grow our offices in Stockholm and New York, we’re looking to bring on board a Client Director or Senior Account Director who can help us enable both new and current client relationships to flourish. A Senior Account Director / Client Director at Kurppa Hosk holds overall responsibility for a selection of clients and projects, actively leading and coordinating client assignments – typically for several clients and multiple workstreams simultaneously. They are responsible for owning the client relationship and for driving projects and processes forward – providing expert advice in all relevant areas along the way.
Eloquently playing the dual advocacy role between client and Kurppa Hosk, this means working in partnership with both the client and agency team to understand business landscapes, project requirements, strategic objectives and ambition, before setting out a plan and scope to deliver success. You are detail-oriented but are also able to take a step back and see the bigger picture — identifying opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. You also have the requisite understanding to drive the commercial dimension of our partnerships together with the know-how to earn trust and advise clients through the process of creating meaningful and rewarding brand and business change. Intrinsic to this will be the ability to identify, initiate and orchestrate complex, transformative assignments across multiple Eidra companies leveraging the full value proposition of the group.

Diverse in your skillset, you have experience of managing both strategic and creative development processes and projects. You have a proven track record of or evident talent for and interest in developing long term brand partnerships alongside managing complex project lifecycles from beginning to end, getting the best out of cross-disciplinary teams to create brand experiences that can travel across platforms and create lasting impact for businesses.

Main responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for a selection of KH’s clients and assignments
- Actively lead and coordinate client assignments, advising and supporting the client in all relevant areas throughout the process.
- Autonomous management of transformational workstreams involving cross-disciplinary Eidra teams
- Develop existing client relationships and proactively initiate new projects.
- Manage interdisciplinary teams to execute strategic and conceptual work plus the subsequent implementation of defined deliverables; establishing the most viable approach and ensuring that every team member understands their role, tasks and deadlines
- Prepare, lead and follow up on client meetings, keeping stakeholders informed, internally as well as externally.
- Project planning and definition of project scope and approach, including objectives, deliverables, schedule and budget.
- Plan and organize pitch processes and participate in other new business activities.
The ideal person:
- Has a genuine understanding and interest in solving business problems with creativity as well as a passion for the art and craft of branding.
- Has a proven track record of having successfully managed or an evident talent for managing complex accounts and large-scale brand, communication and digital development projects.
- Is eager to grow further and become a trusted brand advisor to our clients.
- Has the grit and stamina to keep pushing for quality in long-term brand partnerships
- Has excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and written (the KH office is English-first)
- Has exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills
- Is a flexible and pragmatic person who remains calm in a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive, collaborative and creative, problem-solving attitude
- Documented international experience is highly desirable.
